Joseph 'Joey' Cabral, age 35, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at the Brigham And Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, following a long term battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
He was the husband of Melinda (Moreira) Cabral of Fall River, Massachusetts.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of Jose A. Cabral and Madalena (Medeiros) Cabral of Westport Massachusetts.
Employed part time with Citizens for Citizens in Fall River, Joey worked in maintenance and also distributed meals for their Head Start Program.
In addition to his wife, Melinda, and parents, Jose & Madalena, he leaves a daughter, Autumn Rose Cabral of Fall River, a brother, Brian Cabral of Westport, a sister, Nelci Rodrigues and her husband George of Tampa, Florida, his paternal grandmother, Maria Cabral of Fall River, his niece, Emma Madeline Rodrigues, and three godchildren; Matthew Medeiros, Andrew Joseph Rodrigues and Jonathan Manuel Rodrigues.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, January 26, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
