Joseph V. Camara, 92, of Fall River, passed away Friday after a short illness. Husband of the late Leontina "Anita" (Neto) Camara. Born in Fall River and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Jose Vieira and Maria (Carvalho) Camara. An Army Veteran of WW II, he was a Bronze Star Medal recipient. Over the years, Joe had worked at the former Shelburne Shirt Co. and the former Chace Leather Co. Father of Raymond, Richard, Michael J. and the late Patricia Ann Camara; brother of Dora Mello, Dorothy Rebello and the late Mary Vieira, Alice Medeiros and Gilda Costa. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was offered on Wednesday, August 5, at Immaculate Conception Church. Committal services followed at St Patrick Cemetery.
