Joseph Pavao, 75, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Mass. General Hospital after an illness. Born in St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Manuel Pavao and the late Maria (Luciano) Pavao, he emigrated to Fall River in 1949.

He worked in the local construction industry with various companies for many years and was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local #1305.

Joseph is survived by: three children, Cheryl Cote, Julie Barlow, and Jason Cote (fiancée Jennifer Aguiar) all of Fall River; a brother, Manuel Pavao of Westport; five grandchildren, Dominick, Ryan, Trever, Samantha, and Rylee; and several nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Mary Lou Oliveira.

His private funeral was held on Wednesday, January 5th, with a committal service at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
