Joseph M. Raposa, 59, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at St. Anne's Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Terceira, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel M. Raposa and the late Nair (Goulart) Raposa.

Prior to his illness, he worked as Spot Welder for the former American Dryer for many years. An avid New England sports fan and a true "homebody", Joe simply loved being home and watching his sports. He also enjoyed the company of his cats, Baby, Baby Girl, Fluffy, Cookie, Sheba, and Spooky. He leaves his loving siblings, Gino S. Raposa and his wife, Deborah, Rose Pacheco, and Angie Ferreira (late husband, David), all of Fall River; one niece and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, April 22nd, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
