Joseph N Rose, 89, of Fall River, husband of Mary (Oliveira) Rose, died on Sunday at Crawford Nursing Home. Joseph was an Army Veteran of WWII and worked for the Postal Service for many years as a letter carrier. Born in Fall River, son of the late Frank and Albertina (Boisvert) Rose. Besides his wife , he is survived by his son John Rose (wife-Elizabeth) and his daughter Elizabeth Rose, of Fall River; four grandchildren Ashley, Jillian, Makenzie and Conor. Brother of the late Frank Rose, Eva Rose, Evelyn Levallee, Irene Garakilis and Florence Lejoy. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, July 21st, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
