Joseph P. Santos, 79, of Fall River, husband of Zulmira (Pereira) Santos, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Feteiras do Sul, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Jose Pedro Santos and the late Maria Luz (Resendes) Santos. He was also the brother of the late Irondina Sousa (late husband, Joao Sousa). He leaves one niece and two nephews.

Prior to his retirement he worked for Tasco Engineering for many years. He loved cooking and traveling to such places as Israel, Azores, Brazil, California, Paris, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. But what Joseph enjoyed most was spending quality time with all his family.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, June 12th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Joseph's memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
