Josephine Facchiano, 84, of Fall River, passed away at home peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John and Loretta (Lavoie) Facchiano, she was a lifelong resident of Fall River.

Prior to her retirement she had worked for many years in the local textile industry and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (now UNITE). She enjoyed butterflies, angels, cute & loveable animals, and dancing in her younger days.

She is survived by: a brother, Donald Facchiano of Fall River; three nieces and nephews, Donald Facchiano, Jr., Alison Facchiano, and Tara Facchiano; and several grand-nieces and nephews. Josephine was also the stepdaughter of the late Angelina (Morrone) Facchiano; and aunt of the late John Facchiano.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, August 13th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
