Joshua Ponte, 37, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the result of an automobile accident on I-195 in Seekonk. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Agostinho Ponte and Maria (Cordeira) Braga, both of Fall River.

CEO, founder, and co-owner of Modern Ponte's Bakery on Rodman Street in Fall River, Joshua was a loving son and hard worker who was passionate about his job and living life to its fullest. Besides his parents, he is survived  by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends – all who will miss him dearly.

His Funeral Service was held on Sunday, January 26th, during a visitation period in our Fall River Chapel. A private cremation followed.
