Joviano N. Crespo, 71, of Fall River, husband of Cecilia (Machado) Crespo, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at St Anne's Hospital. Born in Faja de Baixo, St Michael, Azores, son of the late Fernando N. & Maria A. (Santos) Crespo, he emigrated to Fall River in 1984 and worked at Quaker Fabric for many years. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he leaves: 3 children, Jose Crespo (wife Pamela) of Swansea, Ana Raposo (husband Pedro) of Fall River, Bruna Ourique (husband Jose) of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Liliana Ferreira of Canada, Maria Conceicao Crespo of St Michael, Azores; 7 grandchildren, Kyle, Alex, Kayla, Jordan, Jonathan, Jalyssa & Gabriel; 1 great granddaughter, Kali; many nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Fernando Crespo and grandfather of the late Selena Crespo.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 4th, in Santo Christo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
