Jovino Medeiros, 92, of Huard St, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Thursday. Husband of the late Ermelinda (Ramos) Medeiros. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late David and Marianna Medeiros. A WWII Army Veteran, he worked for the Narragansett Improvement Construction Co. for many years. Father of the late Alda Jane Franco and Jovino David Medeiros, he is survived by his granddaughter, Teresa Miranda, 2 great grandchildren, Thomas Jeffery Miranda and Alexandrea Jane Miranda, one sister, several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, May 14, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal with military honors at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers
