Joyce L. Berryman, 78, of Pleasant St., passed away Monday after a long illness. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Chester and Agnes (Stott) Berryman. She worked for the former McCrory's 5&10 and then the former Woolworth's 5&10 (both in the Flint) for many years. One of God's special gifts, "Aunty Joyce" cared for many cats and everyone who knew her. Beloved sister of Gladys Machado and the late Constance Petty, Chester (Jr), Kenneth, Randall and Richard Berryman. She also leaves her godchild and caretaker, Dorna Sousa, her cat Smokey and many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Family would like to extend a special thanks to her caretaker, Berta DeMarco. Her funeral arrangements were private.
