Judith Roderick, 81, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Saturday. She was the wife of Walter Roderick, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Born in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Augustine & Maria da Luz (Janeiro) Silva. Survivors include a daughter, Jo-Ann Ventura (husband - Manuel) of Fall River; a son, David W. Roderick (wife - Joanne) of Sandwich, MA; sisters, Licia Silvia of Dartmouth, Armenia "Amy" Ferreira of Fall River and Delores Rego of Westport; grandchildren, Eric Ventura, Jennifer Jones and Megan Roderick; great grandchildren, Brady Couto and Landon Jones; and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Augustine Silva, Jr., Gilbert Silva and Raul Silva. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Espirito Santo Church. She was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
