Julia (Costa) Senica, 83, of Fall River, passed away on January 17, 2009 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the widow of Sidonio Senica. Born in Santa Clara, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Julio & Luisa do Conceicao Costa. A Fall River resident since 1978, she was a retired textile worker. Survivors include sons, Julio Costa of St. Michael, Azores and Fernando Costa of Warren, RI; daughters, Filomena Batista, Delfina Mendes and Julia Bedard, all of Fall River; brother, Guilherme Cabral of Quebec, Canada; sister, Joana Cunha of Boston, 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Joana Silva. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Santo Christo Church at 10:30. Pallbearers Paul Costa, Kevin DeSouza, Marco Souza, Jorden and Scott Silva and Fernando Costa brought Julia to her final resting place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
