June S. "Peachy" Ferreira, 88, of Tiverton, wife of the late David Ferreira, passed away peacefully at Silver Creek Manor in Bristol, Rhode Island on November 30, 2019 after a brief illness. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Armand and Emma (Pratt) St. Arnauld. She was an inspector for various textile mills for many years. June enjoyed her time at the casinos, crossword puzzles, and telling her corny jokes. She treasured her family deeply. In her younger years she was a phenomenal pitcher in baseball and softball. She even pitched in the men's baseball league as well. It was in the softball league that she met her husband David, and they shared 64 years of marriage.  She is survived by: her five children, David  Ferreira (wife-Cynthia) of Connecticut, Sandra Pierce (husband-Rick) of Florida, Susan Ferreira (husband-Tony) of Fall River, Frank Ferreira (wife-Caitlin) of Taunton, and Linda Farias (husband-Gil) of Tiverton;  18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; her two siblings, Janice Russel of Florida and Ronald St. Arnauld of Louisiana. She was the sister of the late Florence Davis, Madeline LeClair, Carol Luce and Armand St. Arnauld. Her Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, December 4th, during calling hours in our Fall River Chapel. Burial arrangements were private.
