Juvencio J. Raposo, 66, of Sodom Road, Westport, passed away Monday after a short illness. Husband of Mary Eulalia (Gomes) Raposo. Born in Feteiras, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel and Maria de Jesus (Amaral) Raposo Cabral. He was the owner of J.R. & Sons Construction, Inc. Survivors include sons, David (Wife-Christina) and Joseph (Wife-Staycie) Raposo; grandchildren, Owen and Victoria Raposo; brothers Fernando Raposo, Jordao, Jacinto and Carlos Cabral and several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, July 3, 2009 in Our Lady of Grace Church in Westport. Committal services followed at Beech Grove Cemetery. His pallbearers were Joe Ponte, John, Joseph and Carlos Cabral, Michael Gomes and Gil Neves.
