Karen L. Raposo, 61, of Fall River, wife of Louis C. Raposo, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of Rita (Arruda) Tetreault of Fall River and the late Henry Tetreault.

Employed at Stop and Shop of North Dartmouth for 12 years, Karen had also worked at other local area businesses when younger, including a number of years at the Fall River Pharmacy (operated by her father); and she relished her most important 'job' as a stay-at-home mom for a time. An avid puzzle-solver in her spare time, Karen mostly enjoyed selflessly caring for her family.

Besides her husband, of 39 years, and her mother, she is survived by: two children, Ryan Raposo (wife Kristen) of Dighton, MA, and Eric Raposo (wife Brynne) of Fall River; a sister, Susan Duquette (husband Marc) of New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Hannah and Henry; and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 19th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
