Kathleen A. Beleda, 68, of Fall River, wife of Michael Beleda, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning after a brief illness. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Edward R. and Josephine (Miozza) Pereira. Kathleen was employed by Joan Fabrics as a Data Entry Clerk for many years before her retirement. A true "homebody", she loved to cook, her specialty being lasagna and stuffed quahogs. She also enjoyed shopping at the mall, dining out, and trips to the water. But most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Kathleen and her loving husband Michael enjoyed forty-five wonderful years of marriage. Michael considered his wife to be the "Queen" of his life. She will be sadly missed but always remembered by her family and friends. Besides her devoted husband who loved her with all his heart, she leaves her daughters: Michelle Greenwalt and her husband Glen of Westport and Jennifer Desmarais and her husband Scott of New Bedford; a step-daughter, Tammy Tavares and her husband Paul of Fall River; one grand-daughter, Brittany Araujo; five step-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, July 24th, in Holy Rosary Church followed by her committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
