Kathleen A. Chaves, 53 of Taunton, formerly of Westport, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday. She was the wife of Kevin M. Chaves. Born in Fall River, daughter of Lydia (Costa) Lizotte of Westport and the late Raymond A. Lizotte. Within her long career in the Restaurant industry, she owned and operated Kathy's Place in Fall River and was a waitress at Pub 99 for 19 years. Survivors include sons, Brandon Correia (fiancée Shanna Palmer) and Robert Furtado; step-sons, Seth and Adam Chaves; sister, Karen Sardinha; grandchildren, Wyatt Correia and Raina Smith; niece, Arryane Sardinha and nephews, David and Shane Sardinha. Her funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 11, in the Third Baptist Church on Stafford Road, followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
