Kathleen Sousa-Silva, 49, of Fall River, passed away Saturday unexpectedly after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Arthur Silva. Born in Fall River, daughter of Alfred Sousa of Tiverton and the late Patricia A. (Murphy) Sousa. She grew up in Tiverton and graduated from Tiverton High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked at various restaurants as a cook and server. Kathy enjoyed cooking and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Besides her husband and father, her survivors include her sister, Eileen Lopes (husband-Gilbert) of No. Dighton; brothers, Paul Sousa of New York City and Kevin Sousa of Fall River; 3 nieces, Erica Cabral of Berkley, Kayla Tutsch and Jenna Lopes both of No. Dighton, and her faithful dog "Gus". Her Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 26, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Somerset.
