Kelly Cornwall, 36, of Cranston, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. Born in New Bedford, loving daughter of James and Elaine Hyson of North Port, FL. She was the devoted mother of Elizabeth Hyson, Victoria Cornwall and Catherine Furtado, all of Rhode Island; sister of Kathy Doyle (husband- Chris) of Brockton, James Hyson of Alexandria, VA and Joseph Hyson of North Port, FL. She was the fiancée and longtime friend and love of Jason Demenezes and future stepmother to Patrick and Nathan Demenezes. She also leaves nieces Kiley Hyson, Kailin and Keaghan Doyle whom she adored, aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.

Kelly radiated kindness, intelligence and great wit. Even as a child, Kelly possessed a contagious smile, a curious and loving spirit, as well as warmth, sensitivity and a wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor. She loved chocolate, reading, dancing, music, and most of all, cuddling and being silly with her daughters. She always extended her help to her friends and family in any way she could. Kelly graduated from BMC Durfee High School in 1997 where joining the marching band encircled her into a "herd" of friends that remain like family to this day.
