Kenneth K. Ponte, 61, of Fall River, companion of Deborah Silvia, passed away peacefully on Sunday after a long illness. Born in Fall River, a son of the late John E. and the late Carmen (Rioux) Ponte. He  was a carpenter all of his life, and was a member of the Liberal Club.In addition to his companion he is survived by: his brother Clifford A. Ponte and his wife Denise; two nephews, Clifford Ponte II and Timothy Ponte all of Fall River, and his aunt Florence Brodeur of Tiverton. He was the brother of the late John Edward Ponte III. Following his private cremation, a memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 29th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
