Kenneth R. Richard, 74, of Freetown, husband of Rose (Torres) Richard, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 21, 2025 following a brief illness. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Roland Alpherie Richard and the late Marie Gloria (Leandro) Richard.

Prior to retirement, Kenneth worked as a supervisor for a local cable manufacturing company for many years. He loved Caribbean cruises and traveling to many places such as Hawaii, Portugal, St. Martin, and Las Vegas. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, listening to music and most importantly, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Besides his beloved wife of forty-six years, he leaves his loving daughter, Krystal Sweet and husband, Jeremy, of Swansea; his four grandchildren, Austin Richard, Makayla Trumbower (husband Josh), Avery Sweet and Landon Sweet; and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by his son, Frank Richard, and his sister, Joyce Bedard.

Following a private cremation, His Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, May 5th, at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fall River.
