Kenneth Mathew Talbot, age 59, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River. Born in Fall River, Kenneth was the son of Belmira (Amaral) Costa of Fall River and the late Cyril Talbot. A resident of Fall River for most his life, he was a graduate of Diman Regional Technical Vocational High School and was employed for many years as a manager at RadioShack. He also lived in New Bedford for eleven years and managed several Hess Express Stores in the greater New Bedford area. A gifted drummer, Ken played the nightclub circuit for many years, "Rocking the House" at clubs such as Alhambra's and JR's Fast Lane with several bands including Bratt, Chaser and others. He was also an auto enthusiast. In addition to his mother, Belmira, surviving family members include a daughter, Nicole Talbot of Somerset, a son, Jesse Costa USMC, currently serving in the military, three brothers; Thomas Joseph Talbot of Fall River, William Costa of St. Petersburg, NY, and James Costa of Somerset, three sisters; Carolyn Alpalhao and Brenda Pacheco, both of Swansea, and Marianne McGlynn of Tiverton, RI, eight nieces & nephews; Carey-Ann Sattler, Ashley McGlynn, Bobbie McGlynn, Adam Talbot, John Talbot, Casey Costa, Eric Costa, and Evan Costa, and his beloved dog Emma. His funeral arrangements were private.
