Kevin A. Torres' Obituary
Kevin A. Torres, 48, of Somerset, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 2nd, 2016. Born in Fall River, son of the late David R. Torres, Jr. and the late Linda (Terceiro) Torres. Kevin was a maintenance worker on the Battleship, an animal farmer and most recently, was selling and repairing used lawn mowers. His family was his top priority and he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals and spending time at the VFW in Swansea. Survivors include his children, Jayden M. Torres and his girlfriend, Olivia of Somerset; nephew, Cameron Torres of Somerset; step daughters, Cassielee Maciel and Sara Petit, both of Fall River; girlfriend, Isabel Franco of New Bedford; grandmother, Beatrice (Correia) Torres of Somerset; sister, Lori Torres and her boyfriend, Mark Martin of Somerset; grandchildren, Nathan LeDuc and Michael Covel. He was also grandson of the late David R. Torres, Sr., George Terceiro and Ghuilermina (Furtado) Terceiro. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 7th, in St. John of God Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
