Kimberly A. Souza

Kimberly A. Souza, 52, of Fall River, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at home. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Enos Souza, Jr. and the late Patricia A. (Wright) Souza.

Kind, gentle and outgoing, Kim loved people, music and self-expression through colorful and creative fashion, and putting her thoughts to paper – journaling and writing poetry. A member of AA – about to celebrate three years sober – she persevered through some difficult times in her life with a determined and admirable resilience, always looking to better herself through academic work and God guiding her.

She is survived by: two sons, Arthur Poirier (husband Bidyut) and Michael Poirier both of Fall River; four siblings, Sharleen Phillips of Reno, Nevada, Jacqueline Levesque of Johnston, RI, Gary Souza of Tiverton, RI, and Phyllis Botelho of Fall River; three nieces, Danielle, Rebecca, and Hannah; and a nephew, Kyle. Kim was predeceased by her niece, Kayla.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Calling Hours to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Private Cremation Arrangements to follow.
