Kristen "Krissy" Marie Carrita, 48, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 18, 2026. 

She was the daughter of Colleen M. (O'Brien) Carrita of Fall River and the late Richard J. Carrita. 

Krissy enjoyed going to see local live bands, was a devoted New England Patriots fan and loved animals - especially her cat. 

Besides her mother, Krissy is survived by her sons Jace William McElroy and Jamison John McElroy, both of Fall River and her brothers, Steven J. Carrita of Fall River and Erik Tolley and his wife Lacey of Fall River, and her close friend Eric Murphy, who occasionally enjoyed Sunday dinners and Pat's games with her. She was also the sister of the late Thomas R. Carrita. 

Following a private cremation, relatives and friends are invited to gather at Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, on Friday November 6th from 5-7pm. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Forever Paws, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River, MA 02721, would be greatly appreciated.
