Lance Paul Hazel, 42, of Seekonk, the fiancé of Jennifer Moore, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Deborah (Salwan) Hazel and the late Kenneth Paul Hazel.

Lance had a very wide variety of music he liked. He would have listen to 50's classic music playing and the very next song would be heavy metal rock.  He enjoyed motorsports, especially riding dirt-bikes with his stepson Ethan. The love he had for mechanical work was very evident in his "baby" the, Acura Integra.  He enjoyed cooking Shrimp Mozambique on special occasions.  His friends will always remember his loyalty. Some of the best memories  with him and his friends is when he was  fishing in Maine. One memory that comes to mind was when he hooked the biggest catch of his life, himself. Lance's general love for the outdoors and mother nature was evident by his actions with the farm and his caring nature towards wildlife. He was constantly picking up animals and putting them back into their habitat when he found them elsewhere.

Besides his fiancé and mother, he is survived by his two step children, Stephanie Moore of Dighton, and Ethan Moore of Seekonk, a step granddaughter Alexadrina Perreira; one brother, Dennis Hazel and his wife Jennifer of Rehoboth. Lance was the uncle of Tyler Hazel, Anna Hazel,  Isabella Cook and Kollin DaCosta, as well as, the late Ryan Hazel.  He also had a great niece Alyvia Hazel.

A Celebration of his Life was held on Sunday, October 18th, during calling hours at His Providence Church in Swansea. His private cremation followed.
