Laudalina Amaral, 82, of Tiverton, wife of the late Jose C. Amaral, passed away peacefully at Morton Hospital on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 after a brief illness. Born in Feteiras de Sul, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao C. and Irene (Pacheco) Amaral.

"Lina" was a very hard worker and was co-owner of Amaral's Central Market in Fall River for many years. She was especially devoted to her family and her church, the Luzo-American Pentecostal Church, here in Fall River. She also loved to garden and tend to her grapevines.

She leaves: her two sisters, Juvenalia Amaral and her husband, Daciel, of Tiverton, and Judith Oliveira (late husband, John) of Swansea; her brother, John F. Amaral and his wife, Luisa, of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Joe Mike Amaral.

Due to the COVID pandemic, Laudalina was privately laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery.
