Laura Cabral Saraiva, 101, formerly of Eugene Murphy Village in Somerset, passed away Wednesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel J. and Maria (Pacheco) Saraiva, she lived in Somerset most of her life and was a retired textile worker. She was sister of the late Antone Saraiva, Maria Ferreira, Rosalina Pereira and Sarah Ventura. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in St. John of God Church. She was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
