Lawrence "Larry Tobin" Machado, Jr. 58, of Fall River, passed away on September 5, 2016. Born in Fall River, son of Gladys (Berryman) Machado of Fall River (formerly of Swansea) and the late Lawrence Machado. He worked as a long haul truck driver and most recently was a driver with Vet's Taxi in Fall River. Lawrence enjoyed motorcycles, was a people person and loved animals, having had numerous pets during his lifetime. He will be greatly missed for his abundant personality, true heart and giving nature. Those who loved him most know that these attributes are completely separate from the many bad choices he made due to his unfortunate frequent drug use. Besides his mother, survivors include his sister, Dorna (Simmons) Sousa of Fall River; a brother, Randy Machado of Fall River (formerly Swansea); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Cindy Simmons. His cremation was private. Donations in his memory can be made to Faxon Animal Shelter, 474 Durfee St., Fall River, MA 02720
