Leah V. Saraiva, 88, of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday. Wife of Edward Saraiva. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Eugene and Maria (Baptista) Rego Vital. She was an accounting clerk at the former Fall River Gas Co. for many years. Beloved mother of Edward (wife-Patricia), Stephen E. (wife-Tina) and Susan M. Saraiva; grandmother of Mary Catherine Amadu, Michael and Mark Savaiva; great grandmother of Benjamin Amadu; sister of the late Emily Carreiro, Gene, Manuel, David and Joseph Vital. She also leaves a "sister", Leona Cabral, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, October 31st, in St John of God Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
