Lee V Correa, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 12, 2008. Lee was a lifelong resident of Fall River, born on August 6 to the late Antone and Isabelle (Marques) Valton. She was the wife of a wonderful man, the late Alfred (Fred) Correa, and they were married at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fall River where she was still a communicant. She was one of the original fifteen Women Fall River Uniformed Auxiliary School Patrol Members. Lee worked for more than 30 years at Trina, Inc. as a machine operator and interpreter and was one of the founders of the Solomon D. Rose Memorial Scholarship. Lee had a great love for her three kids and her precious grandchildren. She was a caring woman who touched so many lives and was cherished by everyone who knew her. Suvivors include: her daughter, Sheila (Correa) Andrade and her husband Robert of Tiverton and their children Donna, Cindy, Lori, Tara and Drey and grandchildren Dane, Brandie, Cortney, Kelsey, Leaven, Hayden and Tyler; her son, Scott Correa and former wife Lynn (Bartleson) of Fall River and their children Shanna, Shileah and Sarah and granddaughter, Shaelyn; her son, Gary Correa and his wife, Lorrine (Fusaro) of Fall River and her daughter, Kori; and her sister-in-laws, Irene Camara, Beatrice Valton and Lorraine Valton all of Fall River. She also leaves many very special cousins, nieces and nephews who were so dear to her. Lee was also sister of the late George, Joseph and Antone Valton. Her Funeral Mass was offered on Friday (10/17) in St Anthony of Padua Church. Committal service followed at St. Patrick Cemetery. Her pallbearers were Bobby Joe Valton, Bobby Gardella, Jim Carr, Dane Andrade, Andy Gardella and David Valton.
