"Lee" Idalina Machado, of Fall River, passed away Friday after a short illness. Widow of Arthur D. Machado. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone and Emily (Araujo) Pacheco. A retired sewing machine operator, she lived in Westport for several years where she was an active member of the Holy Ghost Club. Lee enjoyed dancing, bingo, travelling and her volunteer work. Beloved mother of Sharon Bell (husband-the late Thomas), Deborah Messier (husband-Pierre) and Arthur Machado (wife-Heather); grandmother of Christine Emond, Jeremy Messier, Jennifer Costa, Adam, Thomas and Tyler Machado; great grandmother of Benjamin Emond, Dylan and Leah Messier; sister of Daniel Araujo, Hilda Machado and the late John Pacheco and Evelyn Botelho. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, September 21st, in Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
