MURPHY III, Leo C. "Chip", 58, of Warwick, died January 23, 2010, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Marianita C. (Maynard) Murphy. He was born in Hanover, NH, son of Madeline (Silva) Murphy of Wickford and the late Leo C. Murphy, Jr. He will be remembered as a loving father who adored his children: Patrick Ian Conrad, Leonita Madeline, Justina Lucia and Anthony Joseph Leo. He is also survived by his brothers; Kevin I. of Narragansett, Bradford J. of Dublin, OH, Justin I. of Menlo Park, CA; and sister Karen D. of Canton, MA. Chip was a graduate of Saint Thomas Academy, Mendota Heights, MN, class of 1971, and graduated from Providence College with a bachelor's degree in 1976. He was a licensed real estate broker and appraiser, and for three decades contributed countless volunteer hours to youth soccer. His funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fall River. His burial was at a later date in his family's lot on Block Island. Donations to Leo C.
