Leo "Tiga" Nadeau, 58, of Swansea, former husband of Joanne (Machado) Holtzman, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Altino "Tex Barry" Costa and the late Nancy Alice (Berard) Nadeau (late husband, Leo Nadeau).

Prior to his illness he was a truck driver for Biszko Construction for many years. He loved riding his Harley, racing at Seekonk Speedway, and attending bike week annually in Laconia. Tiga also enjoyed being with family and friends. He loved his beautiful white Akita dog, Sasha, who was always with him until she passed. Tiga was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

He leaves his loving sisters, Nancy Aubin (late husband, Robert) of Florida, Noreen Mello and her long-time companion, Wayne Lemaire, of Swansea, and Nadine Rotz and her companion, Levi Brown, of Florida; his half-brother, Barry Costa; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He also leaves Nicole Cabral, who was like a daughter, and her children, Keyligh, Gavin, and Madison who were like his grandchildren.

Following a private cremation, A Memorial Gathering was held on Friday, May 12th, in our Somerset Chapel. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Tiga's memory to an animal shelter of one's choice
