Leonor Estrela, 84, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday. She was the widow of Gil Estrela. Born in Sao Roque, Sao Miguel, Acores, daughter of the late Alfredo & Conceicao (Sousa) Maia. Survivors include sons, Rolando Estrela of Mississaugua, Canada, Gil Estrela of Crescent City, CA, Nivaldo Estrela and Felix Estrela, both of Fall River; a daughter, Sylvia Costa of Fall River; a sister, Soleme Santos of Toronto, Canada; grandchildren, Danielle, Jeff, Dan, Chris, Desiree and Moses; great grandchildren, Jaidan, Landan, Brody and Nathan; and several nieces and nephews. On Thursday, September 2, friends and family her Funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church. Following the service, pallbearers Val Costa, Jose Teirceira, Rui Roque, Delio Leal, Robert Dellatore, and Antonio Da Silva brought Leonor to her final resting place in Notre Dame Cemetery.
