Leontina Martin, 85, of Fall River, died on February 16, 2009 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in, and a lifelong resident of, Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John & Dina (Dias) Martin. Employed in the local textile industry for many years, she had also worked at the Newport Naval Base Torpedo Station. Survivors include a nephew, John Souza, and grandnieces, Lindsay Souza and Jamie Souza, all of Tiverton. Funeral is Wednesday at 10 am from Silva-Faria Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Notre Dame Church. Pallbearers Erick Sousa, Ryan Hancock, Ronald Viveiros, John Souza, Joseph and Jason Sousa brought Leontina to her final resting place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
