Leontina "Tina" Silva, 47, of Somerset, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, surrounded by her family. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of Maria Conceicao (Branco) Duarte of Fall River and the late Herminio P. Duarte. Tina worked as a CNA at Somerset Ridge Nursing Center and loved shopping, camping, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Besides her mother, she is survived by her sons, Jason Silva and Bobby Garrafa, both of Somerset; her fiancé, Dennis Miranda of Somerset; a brother, Herminio P. Duarte, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL; sisters, Connie Marques and Maria Rego, both of Fall River; grandchildren, Kendall and Mason; and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, November 8, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
