Leontina M. Vieira, 73, of Fall River, wife of the late Jose Vieira, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Praia de Vitoria, child of the late Antonio and Jesuina Martins. She worked as a housekeeper at various hospitals. She is survived by: eight children, Luis Pereira Mendonca and his wife Conceicao of Portugal, Ana Paula Mendonca of Portugal, Trinidad Machado and her late husband Candido of Portugal, Natalia Pereira of Portugal, Maria de deus Dutra of Portugal, Teresa Menezes of Fall River, Robert Mendonca of Fall River and Jose Vieira of Fall River; four grandchildren, Alexander Mendonca, Neuza Mendonca, Fernanda Menezes and Khalil Ayoud; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Elizabet Mendonca and Patricia Mendonca. She was also the sister of the late Beatrice Martins, Joao Martins, Alverina Dutra, Jose Martins and Laura Martins. Her Services were held privately.
