Leopoldo Furtado Pacheco, 88, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday unexpectedly. Husband of Maria Jose (Martins) Pacheco, to whom he was married for 58 years. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Decio and Maria (Pacheco) Furtado. Beloved father of Manuel Furtado (companion – Anne Malenfant), Angela Furtado and Luis Furtado (wife-Aida); grandfather of Anita, Stephen, Shaun, Jessica, Scott, Eric and Ashley Furtado; great grandfather of Vonyea, Evan, Layla and Jaxson. He was predeceased by 5 siblings and also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 25th in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
