Leotina "Leona" Cabral, 94, of Somerset, wife of the late Louis S. Cabral Jr. passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Manica and the late Maria (Franco) Manica.

Leona loved listening to the timeless music of the big band era, and she enjoyed ballroom dancing with her beloved late husband, Louie. She also found great joy in knitting and spending time at the Tiverton Senior Center. Above all else, Leona cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, whose love and companionship were the greatest blessings of her life.

Leona is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Mullaney and her husband, Joseph, of Dighton; Abigail Marie Cabral of Somerset; and Marie Ann Cavallo and her husband, James, of East Brunswick, New Jersey. She also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren, Joseph Patrick Mullaney III, Sean Louis Mullaney, Abigail Elizabeth Cavallo, and Jamie Marie Cavallo; her beloved great-grandson, Joseph Patrick Mullaney IV; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County Street, Somerset, Massachusetts.

Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. from Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. John of God Church, 1036 Brayton Avenue, Somerset, Massachusetts. Committal Service and interment will immediately follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, Massachusetts.
