Liduina "Lynn" (Furtado) Santos, 88, of Fall River, widow of Dennis Santos, passed away peacefully on Monday evening. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Georgina (Soares) Furtado. Liduina worked as an obstetrics nurse at Charlton Memorial Hospital from 1968 to 1985. Liduina amazed us all with her exceptional memory of people, places and dates. She enjoyed many conversations with her family and friends near and far. She loved anything related to the subject of food and cooking, and took great joy in preparing food for family and friends. But her greatest joy in her life was her family. Liduina leaves her two sons, Dennis Santos, Jr. and John F. Santos and their respective spouses Brenda and Janna; two grandchildren, Nathan Santos and Bethany Tourles and her spouse John; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, February 10th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
