Lillian Medeiros, age 93, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010, at the Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the widow of Manuel Medeiros. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Frank Duchaine and the late Mary (Sousa) Duchaine. After residing in Fall River for 47 years, she moved to Somerset in 1964. Lillian was a traditional mother, choosing to keep her home and raise her seven children; Francis Medeiros and Gary Medeiros, both of Somerset, Lee Medeiros and Joyce Sarro, both of Lincoln, California, Lillian Vieira of Fall River, Maureen Affonso of Port Orford, Oregon, and Diane Walters of Sacramento, California. She also leaves many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral services were private.
