Linda Ratner Souza

Linda Ratner Souza, 77, of Westport, widow of Michael C. Souza, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Ratner and the late Doris (Minkin) Ratner.

A payroll clerk with Lee’s Market for many years, she also worked at Holiday Lanes for 25 years.

She is survived by: a daughter, Rebecca L. Souza of Fall River; two sisters, Myra & Ronna; a granddaughter, Briella; and several nieces and nephews.

Following a private burial in Beech Grove Cemetery, the family will hold a memorial gathering to take place at a later time. Arrangements were under the care of the Silva-Faria Funeral Home.
