Linnea Jean Assad, 73, of Fall River, wife of the late Ronald J. Assad, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Los Angeles, California, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Violet (Jokinen) Kisko.

Prior to her retirement, she was Director of Transportation for Community Connections, Inc. for many years. She very much enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City with her late husband and "mini-vacations" with her grandchildren to such places as Cape Cod and New Jersey. She was an advocate for the disabled, deaf and hard of hearing. Most important to her was taking care of her loving family and spending quality time with all of them.

She leaves: her children, Mark A. Assad and his wife, Stacy, of Fall River, and Michael A. Assad and his companion, Lisa Moss, of Tiverton; three grandchildren, Ava Rose Assad, Patricia Assad, and K'lyn Lin; two great-grandchildren, Jayce Diaz and Adriana Mulkahy; her sister, Patricia Holst and her husband, Stephen, of Westport; a daughter-in-law, Sheri Assad; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert Kisko.

Her funeral arrangements, under the directions of the Silva-Faria Funeral Homes, were private.
