Lorraine A. Aguiar, 82, of Fall River passed away on Monday, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of George Perry Aguiar, with whom they shared 64 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Antone and Anna (Mello) Medeiros. She was a parishioner of St. John of God Church and also a member of the Catholic Women's Guild in Florida. She and George considered themselves true "Snowbirds" wintering in Florida for several months each year. Lorraine was a sewing machine operator and owner of R.A. Wilcox but most importantly, a marvelous homemaker. In addition to her husband, surviving family members include her two children; Lynne M. Argo of Fall River, and George R. Aguiar of Fort Myers Beach, FL, and one sister Beverly Harvey of Somerset. She was the grandmother of Tiffany Argo and Elan Argo and the great-grandmother of Caylee and Karter. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 21st, in St. John of God Church in Somerset followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
