Lorraine (Gendreau) Botelho, also known as "Mrs. B", 79, of Fall River, died at home surrounded by her loved ones on Jan. 6, 2008 after a long illness. Born and raised in Westport, daughter of the late Albert & Aldea (Charron) Gendreau, she lived in Fall River most of her life. She worked as a seamstress in the local textile industry for many years until an early retirement in 1966. She was an avid Red Sox fan; and she loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mother of Robert Botelho of Seekonk, Richard Botelho, Cindy Vanasse & Jocelyn Walton all of Fall River, Jeanne Langlois & Lori Fielding both of Portsmouth, RI, Beverly Souza of Tiverton, RI, Robbin Sercu of Agoura Hillls, CA, and the late Gayle Anne Botelho. Sister of Norman Gendreau & Constance Kuttner both of Westport, Gilbert Gendreau & Pauline Gauthier both of Fall River, Albert Gendreau of Somerset, Roger Gendreau of Warwick, RI, Doris Faught of Highland, MI, and the late Jeanne Gendreau & Rita Freelove. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated by Rev. Barry Wall at Holy Rosary Church in Fall River. Pallbearers were Joey Souza, Steve Snider, Kevin Walton, Mike Kuttner, Mike Vanasse and Gary Kennedy. Attending her mass was a delegation from the Fall River Housing Local 1990.
