Lorraine M. Connell, 82, of Westport, widow of James Connell, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2017. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Vasconcellos) Andrade. She was a hostess at the China Royal Restaurant for many years. She loved singing and traveling, especially her trips to the casino.  Lorraine leaves her daughters, Kathleen Hertzler and her husband Wayne of Dartmouth, Carline Drew and her husband Robert and Sharon Connell both of Bristol, Lori Hawes and her husband Jordan of Westport, and Karen Pacheco of Swansea; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Andrade, Jr., of Fall River; many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Barry James and Steven Joseph Connell. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 7th, in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport, followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
