Lorraine Estrella, age 77 of Toledo, OH passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 in Ohio. She was born December 7, 1934 to the late Alphonse and Laura Lavoie in Fall River. Lorraine lived most of her life in the New England area before she and her husband recently moved to Ohio to be closer to their family. She enjoyed spending time with her precious granddaughter, Tahra; working on needlepoint projects, puzzles and cheering on her favorite teams, New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. Lorraine was also a member of St. Joseph Church in Sylvania.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 57 years, Raymond Estrella; son, Tom Estrella (wife-Audra); granddaughter, Tahra and many loving nieces and nephews in the New England area. Following her funeral mass in Ohio, a final service was held on Monday, January 23, 2012 in our Fall River Chapel. She was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
