Lorraine (Colby) Macri, 76, of Fall River, widow of Joseph A. Macri, died Tuesday, October 16th, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Born in Taunton, she was a daughter of the late Albion and Verna (Barker) Colby, she resided in Fall River most of her life. She had been employed at Fall River Herald News for many years. Lorraine is survived by her beloved children, Frank A. Macri and his wife Christine, and Gerald Macri, all of Fall River; sister, Beverly Chase of Stratford, CT; grandchildren, Frank, Michael, Erica, Mia & Amanda; and several nieces and nephews. Mother of the late Joseph Jr.; and sister of the late Marilyn Stephens. Her Funeral Service was held on Friday (10/19) at Silva-Faria Funeral Home on Bedford St. Committal services followed at St. Patrick Cemetery. Father Barry Wall officiated. Pallbearers were Michael Macri, Frank Macri, David Stephens, James Kennedy, Eric Bento & Mia Macri.
